Welcome to St Mary’s Catholic Primary School

At St Mary Catholic Primary School, we seek to create a happy, family atmosphere where Christian values are upheld, not only in worship and Religious Education, but across the whole life of the school. Our school is a happy and thriving place, where children and adults work and learn together in a rewarding atmosphere, built on the foundation of enthusiasm, encouragement and high expectations. We work hard to achieve success and are fully committed to the development of every child in partnership with parents and carers and the community.

Our school is a learning school – everybody involved in the life of the school is an active learner. Every member of staff is totally committed to providing all our children with the very best education possible, where everyone feels valued, happy and ready to learn. We believe in a rich and diverse curriculum that offers a variety of real and memorable experiences that instill a lifelong love of learning.

This website has been designed to provide the school’s community, prospective parents and children with accurate and up to date information. We welcome visitors to our school at all times. I would encourage all parents thinking about sending their child to St Mary’s to book an appointment to meet my self, or if I am unavailable a member of our team, so that we can take you on a tour of the school. It is important that you see our staff and children in action and loving learning.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. To view our child protection policy please click here.
