School Meals

All food provided at St Mary's meets the nutritional standards set by the government. Autograph Food Services manage our school meals. We have a kitchen on the premises and all meals are currently prepared here by our cook and her staff. Each meal is balanced for nutritional content within national guidelines. This ensures that children are provided with a healthy balanced meal.
A menu is available at the school and a choice of meals is usually available. From September 2014 all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal each day. No pre-ordering is necessary. Please discuss the menu with your child each day and ensure they know what they wish to order.

All our school lunches are paid for by parents using our online payment system, called ParentPay. This enables parents/carers to pay in advance for school meals without using cash. ParentPay allows you to control the amount of credit in your child's account and you are able to logon and view the account and top up at any time. We encourage all parents to take advantage of this system. Please note that parents/carers are expected to monitor their ParentPay account. In the event that an account does not have sufficient credit to pay for a lunch the school will contact you so that you can make a payment or provide a packed lunch. Meals are priced at £2.20 per meal, per child, per day. If you require any assistance regarding ParentPay and school meals please contact the school office.

Some children prefer to bring a packed lunch from home. Please ensure your child's lunch box/container is clearly named. Please do not send your child to school with any products that contain nuts.
