Mary

Mary, the mother of Jesus, is very special to our school because she is our Patron Saint. That means she watches over us, prays for us, and helps guide us to live like Jesus.

Mary Our Mother

Here’s why Mary is important for our school:

  1. She Loved Jesus: Mary loved and trusted Jesus more than anyone else. She listened to God and said “Yes” when He asked her to be the mother of Jesus. We can learn from Mary how to say “Yes” to God and follow Him every day.
  2. She Cares for Us: Just like she cared for Jesus, Mary cares for all of us. As our Patron Saint, she watches over our school and prays for us. We can ask her for help when we need guidance or support.
  3. A Model of Kindness: Mary was always kind, gentle, and loving. At school, we can try to be like Mary by being kind to others, helping those in need, and showing love to everyone, just as she did.
  4. Her Special Feast Days: Our school might celebrate special days dedicated to Mary, like the Feast of the Immaculate Conception or the Assumption. On these days, we remember how much she means to us and thank her for her prayers.
  5. We Can Pray to Mary: We can talk to Mary in prayer by saying the Hail Mary or other prayers. She listens to us and prays for us, just like a loving mother.
